i can't count the number of people in this house right now because i'm not patient with numbers, but it's a lot.
i find myself stepping aside to watch everyone. it makes me smile to walk through the rooms watching exaggerated expressions in conversation, hear silly laughter, see children run in circles and play with dinosaurs.
my favorite thing is to find a sleepy baby and walk around holding it. fresh smell of baby, tiny noise of breath, beanbag weight.
this is heaven, or it makes me think i want heaven.
baby smell, along with alfalfa just mowed, is my favorite.
